Baby Bumper

This is the bumper that I made for my son's crib. It was one of the hardest things I've ever tried to make! The baby blancket that I made for my son was the inspiration for the fabric and colors of the bumper.

I first tried making the bumper like the ones you buy, one long piece, but I soon found that I didn't have the skill for that yet :) so I decided to make it sections. I think if I ever make another one, I will use different stuffing, something a little more stiff. What I used isn't returning to it's original shape once he's stands on it to try to climb out :) Oh, well... it was fun to make and I learned a lot!!!
